September is National Preparedness Month. In honor of this, the Dardanelle-Yell County Library is hosting the 1st annual Safety & Preparedness Fair on September 25th from 10 am to 5 pm.
Everyone is invited to attend, learn about resources, ask questions, and become a more prepared person and household for the future. This will be FREE to attend, as all library events are! We will have a mix of emergency, community, and safety resources available onsite all day long. Community partners will also provide workshops throughout the day.

Everyone who attends will receive a FREE Household Emergency Information Checklist. This is a resource that can be kept with a "GO bag" in the event of an emergency in the home. It lets emergency services know who lives in the home, pets included, what allergies everyone has, and what necessary copies should be kept in the bag.
